Using Julee's Mojo sketch, today's card is one of the last Christmas cards I'm going to make in 2009.

Could someone who sews please tell me what to do with the ends of the threads when I'm done stitching a row??? I tried tucking them behind the cardstock but it just looks icky. Very unprofessional (sort of like the word 'icky', huh?).
Colors are Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Bravo Burgundy, and Brilliant Blue for the snowman's hat. These are taken straight off the Stampin Up color wheel, which has been my BFF the last couple of weeks.
The stamp set is Snow Buddies (found in the Holiday Mini which expires January 4).
And on a final note, this is what happens when your 6 year old disappears with your camera for an entire morning. Lots of pictures of his toys in various poses.

Our 5 year old grand daughter always has the camera phone and photos her cereal, her feet, the dog, her room, all kinds of odd photos on the camera! And her mom can never find the phone!!!

This card is great, I love the stamp and the colors that you used. Great take on the sketch... Love it!

About the ends of the threads when you are done sewing, leave a long enough end to pull them thru to the backside and tie a knot in the them and put a spot of glue on the back of the piece and glue them down. Good Luck!

Your card...and then the toy pictures...made me smile! Such a fun, adorable snowman!

In a blink they're all grown up! It seems like yesterday Matthew was playing w/ transformers, and now he's shaving and singing bass! OMGoodness!

To "finish" a running sewing machine stitch you back up a couple stitches and go forward again before clipping the threads ends. If you do it slowly enough and don't push or pull the cardstock or fabric of your project, the extra stitches will fall into the previous stitches holes and it won't show. Good luck! Otherwise, cutting the threads longer and gluing them down on the back side may be the only option. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
