When the Fall/Winter Stampin Up Idea book was released last Summer, I was very tempted to order the Top Note Bigz Die. This is the die that cuts out the shape for today's project. That curvy rectangle-ish shape.
I marked the page in the Idea Book and kept coming back to it every time I put in an order. Most of the time, it was so popular that it was on back order so I never did order it. Meanwhile, there were so many adorable projects being shown on various blogs or splitcoaststampers.com that I was amazed at what this shape of die could make. In fact, I dare you to google 'top note big die' and see how many sites come up!
Then, a week ago, one of my Ladies, Jean, hands me this project she made for me. USING THE TOP NOTE BIGS DIE JUST TO TEASE ME! Here is a side view of the treat bag she made:
What a great idea for Valentine's Day! Like I said yesterday, I'm saving my big order for February 1st (this Sunday) so that I can get lots of FREE STAMPS through Stampin Up's Sale-a-bration. Can you guess what is on my list this time??
edited to add a good question from my little sister--What is the tote made out of?? It looks like foam!! Is it durable enough to use as a purse? Backpack? Grocery bag?
Kelk (short for kelly)
my answer--Good question Kelk. The tote is made out of a tiny lunch sack. The front is cardstock. You could use it as a purse if all you carry is one dollar bill, one tube of lipstick (or other tube-like shaped object) and a paper clip. Otherwise, it is just the perfect size for about 8 miniature peanut butter cups. Which is what Jean put in there for me....thanks Jean!
