Starbook

I opened my new package of long rectangle Spellbinder's nestabilities on Sunday for this project. Isn't it awesome? I can say that only because it is not my own idea. It is called a Starbook and I stumbled upon it at this website: Amazing Paper Grace

It caught my eye when I first saw it and I could not wait to CASE it.

You use a total of 19 rectangle pieces so it took me a while to get them all cut out. Then, I realized I could cut 3 layers of DP at one time. Duh. But what a work-out to crank all those through! (I'm so glad I have the Big Shot though, because it sure is smooth.)
Here is the back:

And here is one of the pages opened up. I think I need to re-ink my black pad. I used various stamps from the Season of Grace set that is in the Stampin Up mini. It shows Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus, three wise men, shepherds and a sheep, and a verse from Luke "For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Saviour, which Christ the Lord". I also used some stamps from a retired set from last year. Basically, my starbook tells the story of the Son of God coming to earth on Christmas Day.

Here is what the starbook looks like when you tie it opened. How cool is that??

Also, I have had two stampers cancel on my class tonight and so I have two complete card sets ready to go. If you would like to have the whole shabang of Christmas cards mailed to you (either for you to complete or already put together) please click here and let me know. Cost is $15 includes shipping. Click here to see what they look like.
