Flip it over

Today's card uses the Stampin Up set Snow Swirled. It is a really beautiful set but I'm not sure what else to do with it besides emboss the tree and flakes with silver embossing powder (usually referred to as silver EP). It is very pretty this way though.

The background paper is the very last piece I have that came in the Stampin Up Simply Scrappin' Kit Summer Home that I used for my scrapbooking class in October. I sure got a lot of use out of that kit!!

Since all of Stampin Up's decorative papers are two sided (which means there is a co-ordinating pattern on the back side of every single piece), I cut out a scalloped square (with my Big Shot) and flipped the square over to get the green side to show behind the tree. I think I'll play with that idea again. What a great way to make use of the double sided Designer Papers!

Jen, I really like this card, I liked fit when we did it in class. I have also seen it done with gold, very pretty also. Jean
