Beate's weekend sketch challenge

I'm still a little bit new at doing these sketch challenges so I'm not sure how much I can change a sketch and still say my card is from the sketch. I enlarged the insides a little bit as you can see by comparing my card to the sketch:

I suppose it doesn't really matter, does it? It isn't like there is a huge cash prize or anything for the winner. And is there really a winner?? That would make the rest of us losers. And that is a very harsh word.

So anyway, this card is for my daughter's friend. I used the half circle punch on the inside/back layer to hold a gift card. The colors are Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, and Riding Hood Red. The stamp set is Big Bold Birthday (on sale this month). The DP is from the Sweet Always DP pack. Other accessories include the scallop edge punch, white ink and sponge, pink gingham ribbon, silver brads embossed with white embossing powder to make them white, dimensionals, and the cuttlebug embossing folder 'swiss dots' run through my Big Shot.

I'll be away from the computer till Monday so check back then.

Have a great weekend!
