Decor Elements

Have you heard about the new Decor Elements from Stampin Up??

Decor Elements are self-adhesive giant-sized vinyl rub-ons that coordinate with our Definitely Decorative product line that you can use around your house.

They are affordable, come in different colors and styles and are super easy to use.

This is a large size cookie jar I purchased at Hobby Lobby this afternoon (love that store!!). I've been wanting a cookie jar for years but hadn't seen one yet that I liked enough to buy.
When I saw this very plain and very white one sitting on the shelf (Hobby Lobby has a whole line of white un-adorned items that would work great with our rub-ons and Decor Elements.), I remembered my sample Decor Element that Stampin Up had mailed me weeks ago. What a perfect place to try it out.
Literally, three minutes after I started, the image was applied and it was good to go. All I had to do was make sure the jar was clean and dry, peel off the top grid paper, line up where I wanted the decal to go and give it a rub. Then, I peeled back the backing and that was all to it.
Now, does anybody have any cookies to put in it?
Just a quick note to add--Decor Elements are not dishwasher safe nor are they meant to be submersed in water. Stampin Up's official word is that they are meant for the walls. You would definitely only want to apply these beautiful images to objects that would not need anything more than the occasional wipe with a damp cloth.
another quick note to add--my favorite cookies are molasses :0)

No cookies for your jar, but I wanted to say Hello! I'm in the Klompenstampers group, too!

Nice to meet you! :)
