coulda shoulda didn't

I had about 45 minutes to myself today. My husband left with the three boys to watch our oldest son, 11, play his first football game. I stayed home in order to drop our daughter off to volleyball practice and also to attend the boys' school orientation later in the evening.

With the males out of the house and the daughter dropped off, I had about 45 minutes to take down one load of clothes off the line, start another in the washing machine, clear the dinner dishes and start the dishwasher, grab the sheets off the boys beds, iron some of my husbands shirts, blanch and freeze four quarts of green beans....wait, first pick the green beans, sweep the floor and wonder how there always seems to be chocolate chips in one corner by the stove, and feed and water the dog.

I coulda done all that. I probably shoulda done all that. But I didn't.

Instead, I went to my stampin area and played. I found a sketch from iheart2stamp.com and went to work.

This is the sketch
I didn't stick with it exactly but it is close enough to see the resemblance, right?
The stamp set is Stitched Exotics and it is the first time I used it. I think I'll use it more often because it is such a nice bold stamp. The words in the lower right hand say You are absolutely fabulous and is from the set Absolutely Fabulous.
The colors are Riding Hood Red and More Mustard and Baja Breeze.

So, instead of being Cinderella and doing all my chores BEFORE I played, I have some stuff to do now. It'll be a late night.
