Using the same colors as yesterday's card (because I love that Designer Paper!) and the Mojo Monday sketch, here is today's card.
If you look at the sketch and compare it to my card, you'll see that the bottom portion where the sentiment is supposed to be, is cut off. That is because I rocked the stamp I was using a little bit too much and thus, ink lines appeared around the the words. I broke basic rule number 1 in stamping! Don't rock the stamp, just apply even pressure. I guess it happens to all of us, huh? So, instead of starting over, I just cut it off using my paper trimmer.
The colors are Baja Blue, Old Olive, and Close to Cocoa. The DP is Ski Slope.
The stamp set is an old old one that was only available to Stampin Up hostesses about 8 years ago. I saw the set and HAD to book a party in order to get it (remember that Deanna???). It is called Winter Play. The reason I HAD to have it is because of the three kiddos on the sled flying down the snow hill. I had only three kids at the time and so it was perfect.
other accesories: Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder "snowflakes", snowflake brad with glitter on it, small oval punch, scallop edge punch, dew drops by robin's nest, dimensionals
