These are little treats I made for my daughter's volleyball team. Not really Halloween treats, per se, just something for her to hand out in October to her team mates as little reminders of their freshman year of volleyball together.
I call them book markers but they certainly can be used for anything else. We made similar paperclips in class last summer--they are fun and easy to make and everyone who receives one seems to enjoy it. I think most people just haven't seen such huge paperclips! (Obviously they don't enjoy office supply stores like I do.)
They are about 4 inches tall/high/long and I have found them at Staples or Wal-Mart.
For these particular clips, I used volleyball brads from Hobby Lobby (ahhhh......love that store!). I used the 1 inch circle punch for the Night of Navy circle under the brad, 1 1/4 inch circle punch for the white and then the Scallop circle punch in Night of Navy again. You need two of those scallop circles punched out. I used a Pop-up Glue Dot between the two layers of scallop circles to hold the clip inside and to hold the two layers.
The 'Friends Forever' was stamped in white and is a little clear dollar store stamp I found a while ago.
