This is for you Jean!

Yesterday, at my morning class, a wonderful stamper who keeps me on my toes because she stamps more than I do and knows way more stuff than I, told me that Tangerine Tango is the only In Color that she does not like. I tended to agree with her. It is such an orangey hue that I find it is very hard to use with the rest of the Stampin Up colors. It just doesn't play nice. It hogs the attention. It doesn't get along with others on the playground.

Well, I refuse to let bullies get away with it! I tackled Tangerine Tango and showed it who is Boss! I confronted the issues and showed him the world would be a happier place if we'd just all get along! ooopss...sorry to get carried away with the simile. But really, I wasn't giving up till I found a way to make Tangerine Tango play nice. Just call it my Middle Child Syndrome and nod your head like you understand me. Go ahead, nod your head. Thanks.
It was simple, really. I turned to page 168 in the 2008/2009 Stampin Up catalog and found the Designer Series Papers. (If you don't have a catalog---EMAIL me, I can get one to you.) My most favoritest thing about this new book is that it lists the colors that make up the papers. So I found the Designer Papers (DP) called Haiku. It lists out the colors as, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, More Mustard, So Saffron. And since I think these papers are wonderful and the color scheme is beautiful, I figured I'd copy the color combo and see how Tangerine Tango behaves himself today with the Inspired by Nature stamp set.
I think he did pretty well.
