No title today. I don't want to limit my rambling.

Although the sun shining through my windows this morning is making them look really really dirty, I'm loving it! Especially since we lost our power last night and the house was incredibly dark and eerily quiet and I worried that we'd never see light again.
It is so bizarre to live with out electricity. We are so used to power that we almost don't know what to do with ourselves when it is out. We go half crazy! And like my brilliant daughter says, if we didn't have electricity, we'd have to watch t.v. by candle light! Imagine that. But as you can see by the mere fact that there is a post to read today, our power came back on. Just in time for the kids to go to school. Proof that God loves me.
Today's card is for i(heart)2stamp's sketch challenge from Sunday. This one was so much fun! I definitely wanted to use the large scallop sizzix die from Stampin Up which means the card is a large irregular 5 1/2 square. Not very mailable but still giveable. I actually cut two scallops, one out of chocolate chip and one out of a piece of Sweet Always DP.
The butterfly, from Garden Whimsy, is stamped once in chocolate chip on a whisper white 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 rectangle and then again in regal rose on a scrap piece. I cut out the regal rose butterfly wings and glued them on the brown image. And there is lots of dazzling diamond glitter on the wings too.
The circles which include the saying "best friends listen to what you don't say" are nestabilities run through the Big Shot.
The little self adhesive pearls are from Target. Those I had to pick up with tweezers and carefully place them on the card. Sometimes, they'd stick to other...surfaces and I had to check myself before I left the house to make sure there were no pearls sticking...anywhere. They always seem to get stuck on my backside! I'm not sure why except maybe gravity and the large "surface area" are key factors in that phenomenon.
Enjoy your day!
