Here's a sneak peek

There are two new products on this card for you to take a peek at! The Designer Paper is called Raspberry Tart and will be available in the new Stampin Up catalog on January 19th (same day as my next stampin class!!!). The flower image is from a new set that will be in the new catty also. It is called Sweet Stems. Aren't they great??

There are also two new techniques on this card. The scallop corner photo punch is sort of a new idea that I had played around with a while ago. Then, I saw a tutorial that Jan did on her blog and thought you might like to see it. She made hers just a little bit different but it is the same basic principle. The other technique is the shadow technique that I used on the word "Life" (from the 2008 hostess set called Live Like You Mean It).

It looks like it is jumping off the front of this card!

If you stamp your word first in black and then again in white (moving it over just a fraction of a hair), your word will have this shadow effect. It is even easier to do if you have the Stampin Up tool--the Stamp-a-majig. Love that thing!

The verse on the inside of this card is a stamp from River City Rubber Works:

Life is not measured
by the breaths we take,
but by the moments
that take our breath away.

I used my circle nesties and my scallop circle nesties for the central image. Colors are Kiwi kiss, Regal rose, and Pink pirouette. The stamp set is Sweet Stems. The DP is Raspberry Tart. I used three white brads from Hobby Lobby on the flowers.
